Rachel Nugent
Dr. Nugent is Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington and Principal Investigator for the Disease Control Priorities Network (DCP3). She was formerly Deputy Director of Global Health at the Center for Global Development, Director of Health and Economics at the Population Reference Bureau, Program Director of Health and Economics Programs at the Fogarty International Center of NIH, and senior economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. She has advised the World Health Organization, the U.S. Government, and non-profit organizations on the economics and policy environment of NCDs. She received her MPhil and PhD degrees in economics from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA. (USA)
